Several blocks of the central part of the Dnipro are built up with typical nine-storey residential buildings, which have formed a faceless environment with a monofunction – multi-apartment residential buildings without modern public infrastructure. Our project is a large-scale reconstruction of a typical multi-storey building (formerly the Sverdlovsk Hotel) and the Ural Restaurant into a modern business centre.

We redesigned the premises and replaced the engineering equipment of the multi-storey building, installed an additional large elevator and fully provided access for people with reduced mobility. The ground floor has been reconstructed to house cafes, shops and other public facilities. The design of the floors uses motifs of famous world monuments to improve navigation and add variety to utilitarian planning.

The spacious premises of the building of the former restaurant are used for a large hall, conference rooms, a business centre and a cafe. Individual features have been added to the facades of the reconstructed buildings. After reconstruction, the building meets modern energy efficiency standards.

At the end of the neighbouring multi-storey building, built on the same standard project, a mural will be created, quoting a stained glass window from the corridor of the former Sverdlovsk Hotel.
